I love English hardwoods such as Oak and Ash, but often use Maple, Cherry (English and American), Elm, Sycamore, Mahogany and Teak.
Veneers include all the above timbers plus just about anything else Aspen, Lacewood, Macassar Ebony, Wenge, Rosewood, Walnut, Ziricote plus decorative veneers such as Bird's-Eye Maple and Ripple Sycamore, and Burr Ash, Myrtle, Walnut and so forth.
Man-made veneers from Alpi or Tabu can bring an extra dimension of grain, pattern and colour.
Or why not combine materials - how about Sycamore with English Cherry, polished Nickel inlay, or Mother-of-Pearl teamed with American Black Walnut?
We specialise in luxurious high-gloss finishes, over luscious veneers or spectacular colours.
Your furniture could be cased in hand-stitched leather, your chairs softly upholstered in Italian hide.
Door panels can be solid for the natural look, or veneered to improve stability and grain matching.
Carcases are typically veneered or melamine-faced MDF: zero-formaldehyde MDF is available too. Drawer boxes are solid timber or specially veneered ply.
We also get just about any other material such as stainless steel, concrete, glass, Corian and Parapan you name it.
